Yukie Nonogaki
Originally from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, she began piano and solfège training at the age of two and started playing percussion at nine.
After graduating from Hikarigaoka Girls’ High School (St. Katharina Gakuen), she completed her studies in percussion performance at Aichi University of the Arts. While still a student, she began working as a freelance percussionist and has since built a diverse performance career spanning orchestral, chamber music, wind ensemble, pop, and enka genres.
In 1996, she performed as a guest timpanist in the Japan tour of the Slovak Philharmonic Solisten, and in 1998, with the Belgian Chamber Orchestra. She also joined the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra’s European tour in 2004.
She participated in Japan tours in 2005, 2014, and 2019 with Finland’s La Tempesta Chamber Orchestra led by violinist Janne Tateno, alongside pianist Izumi Tateno. During one of these tours, she performed the Japanese premiere of Pehr Henrik Nordgren’s Concerto for Piano (left hand) and Orchestra, Op.129 – “The Man Who Rode on a Corpse”, based on Lafcadio Hearn’s Kwaidan, in collaboration with Izumi Tateno. This recording was released by avex classics international.
In 2023, she performed with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra during their Japan tour as a percussionist.
Currently, she serves as the timpanist and percussionist for the Nagoya Nikikai Opera Orchestra and appears as a guest performer with various orchestras both in Japan and abroad. She is also a lecturer in the Wind Ensemble Course of the Music Department at Ogaki Women’s College, where she mentors younger musicians.
In addition, she serves as a judge for wind ensemble and percussion competitions held across Japan.
She has studied percussion under Kyoichi Sano, Taijiro Miyazaki, Tomoyuki Okada, the late Sanmei Imamura, and Kazuhiko Shirakawa; marimba under the late Mariko Ishida; drums with Nakako Yada; and conducting with Yukihiro Nozu.
She is a supporting player for Koide Cymbals, an artist for TAMA Drums Japan, and a member of the Percussive Arts Society (USA).
野々垣 行恵
愛知県岡崎市出身。2歳よりピアノとソルフェージュを学び、9歳から打楽器を始める。
聖カタリナ学園光ヶ丘女子高等学校を経て、愛知県立芸術大学音楽学部器楽専攻（打楽器専修）を卒業。
在学中よりフリーランスの打楽器奏者として活動を開始し、
現在もオーケストラ、室内楽、吹奏楽、ポップス、演歌など幅広いジャンルで演奏を行っている。
1996年、スロヴァキア・フィルハーモニック・ゾリスデン日本公演、
1998年にはベルギー室内管弦楽団日本公演にて客演ティンパニ奏者を務める。
2004年には名古屋フィルハーモニー交響楽団のヨーロッパツアーに参加。
2005年、2014年、2019年には、
ヴァイオリニスト・ヤンネ舘野氏率いるフィンランド・ラ・テンペスタ室内オーケストラおよびピアニスト・舘野泉氏との日本ツアーに参加。
P.ノルドグレン作曲《左手のためのピアノ協奏曲 作品129 ― 小泉八雲の『怪談』による
「死体にまたがった男」》の日本初演に参加し、舘野泉氏と共演。
録音はavex classics internationalよりCDとして発売されている。
2023年には、ヤナーチェク・フィルハーモニック・オーケストラ日本公演に打楽器奏者として参加。
現在、名古屋二期会オペラ管弦楽団ティンパニ＆打楽器奏者を務めるほか、
国内外のオーケストラにも客演。
大垣女子短期大学音楽総合学科ウインドアンサンブルコース講師として後進の育成にも携わる。
また、全国各地で開催される吹奏楽コンクールやアンサンブルコンテストでは審査員を務める。
これまでに、打楽器を佐野恭一、宮崎泰次郎、岡田友之、故・今村三明、白川和彦の各氏に、
マリンバを故・石田まり子氏に、ドラムを矢田那佳子氏に、指揮を野津如弘氏に師事。
