Kenken Sato
Born January 8, 1978. From Nagasaki Prefecture.
He was the drummer for the visual kei rock band Plastic Tree, which was formed in December 1993. They steadily gained fans through their energetic live performances, and made their major debut in June 1997 with “Broken Window.” The band’s unique worldview attracted attention, and their works ranged from aggressive guitar rock to pop. Their worldview gained popularity overseas, and in July 2006 they embarked on a world tour, proving that they could be active globally. In September 2007, they held a huge success at the Nippon Budokan concert held on the 10th anniversary of their major debut, and on August 30, 2009, their second Nippon Budokan concert was also a huge success. Plastic Tree is a pioneering rock band in the neo-visual kei band world, and is gaining momentum.
佐藤 ケンケン
1978年1月8日生まれ。長崎県出身。
1993年12月に結成したヴィジュアル系ロックバンド「Plastic Tree」のドラマ―として活躍。
精力的なLIVE活動で着実にファンを獲得し、1997年6月『割れた窓』でメジャーデビュー。
バンドの持つ独特な世界観が注目を集め、作品は攻撃的なギターロックからポップなものと多岐にわたる。
その世界観は海を越え海外でも人気を集め、2006年7月にはワールドツアーを敢行。
グローバルに活躍できることを証明した。
2007年9月、メジャーデビュー10周年の節目に行われた日本武道館公演を大成功に収め、
2009年8月30日には2度目となる日本武道館公演も大盛況のうちに終了。
ますます勢いに乗るPlastic Treeはネオビジュアル系バンド界のパイオニア的ロックバンドである。
