Born in 1968, he began playing drums at the age of 13 and has since built a wide-ranging career performing live, in concerts, and in recording sessions across multiple genres.
Drawing from his extensive experience, he is also deeply committed to music education. He teaches at music universities, vocational schools, and private music schools, and actively conducts seminars and workshops.
Immediately after graduating from university, he was appointed as an instructor at the Yamaha Popular Music School. With over 35 years of teaching experience, he has mentored and developed many professional musicians.
In addition to his drumming, he is highly regarded as a percussionist in the field of popular music, known for his attentive and nuanced playing that meets the needs of any musical situation.
He frequently holds seminars on Latin percussion, as well as workshops on instruments like djembe and cajón.
As an artist, he released the album Local Technology Life, which he composed, programmed, and mixed entirely on his own.
He also serves as the sound advisor for Koide Cymbals, Japan’s only domestic cymbal manufacturer, where he contributes a wealth of ideas to product development.

1968年生まれ。13歳からドラムを始め、以降、ジャンルを問わずライブ、コンサート、
レコーディングなど幅広い現場で活躍している。
その豊富な演奏経験を活かし、音楽大学、専門学校、音楽教室などで後進の育成にも力を注いでおり、
セミナーやワークショップなども積極的に行っている。
大学卒業後すぐにヤマハポピュラーミュージックスクールの講師に就任。
35年以上にわたる指導歴を誇り、数多くのプロミュージシャンを輩出してきた。
ドラムだけでなく、ポピュラー音楽におけるパーカッショニストとしても高く評価されており、
“痒いところに手が届く”ような、細やかな配慮の行き届いた演奏を得意とする。
ラテンパーカッションを中心としたセミナーや、ジェンベ、
カホンなどのワークショップも精力的に開催している。
アーティストとしての作品には、作曲・プログラミング・ミックスダウンまで
全て一人で手がけたアルバム『Local Technology Life』がある。
また、国内唯一のシンバルメーカーである「小出シンバル」のサウンドアドバイザーも務め、
商品開発において多くのアイデアを提供し、貢献している。
