Cozy Miura
As the only cymbal manufacturer in Japan, they had high expectations that they would create cymbals that had never been seen before.
Mr. Miura, who is well known for his drum technique research and clinics in Drum Magazine, visited the Koide Cymbal factory. As the only cymbal manufacturer in Japan, he was very interested and toured the factory. He tried out various cymbals, including finished products and prototypes, and it seems that he found a cymbal sound that he was satisfied with.

Dr.K Project held a concert, “Mel Taylor Tribute Ventures Night – We Were Numb by Electric Guitar,” to convey the Ventures’ groove and spirit to the next generation upon the death of their drummer, Mel Taylor. In 1998, they performed with Yuzo Kayama & Hyper Launchers, Ventures, and Nokie Edwards at Yuzo Kayama’s “Eternal Guitar Kids,” and received positive reviews. They are actively engaged in activities as one of Japan’s leading instrumental bands. Koji Miura’s drumming is bold yet sensitive, passionate yet machine-like in its precision. He is also highly regarded as a lecturer, having given precise and easy-to-understand explanations of each technique in drum magazines and at drum seminars.

三浦氏が、なんとコイデシンバル工場に来社されました。
国内唯一のシンバルメーカーということもあり、大変興味を持って工場の中を見学。
完成品や試作中のシンバルなど、いろんなシンバルを試打され、
納得のシンバルサウンドに出会っていただけたようです。

【メル・テイラー・トリビュート・ベンチャーズ・ナイト～僕らはエレキにしびれてた】を開催。
98年には加山雄三氏の【永遠のギターキッズ】において加山雄三＆ハイパー・ランチャ－ズ、ベンチャーズ、
ノーキー・エドワ－ズと共演し好評を博す。
我が国を代表するインストゥルメンタル・バンドとして精力的に活動を展開している。
三浦晃嗣氏のドラムは大胆でかつ繊細、情熱的でしかもマシンのような正確さ。
また、ドラムマガジン誌面やドラムセミナーなどでも、
各テクニックを的確でわかりやすく解説しているなど、講師としての評価も高い。
