Born on January 28, 1949, he was taught drumming by Katsuhiko Kawase. From 1978 to 1981, he participated in the Nishiyama Mitsuru Band at the Osaka Royal Horse. Since then, he has been leading his own band. Since 1982, he has organized the charity concert “Charity Jazz Messe” for the disabled, which will be held for the 19th time in 2000. He also provides music therapy for the elderly and teaches Japanese drums.

1949.1.28生まれ、河瀬勝彦氏にドラムの手解きを受ける。
1978年～1981年大阪ロイヤルホースにて西山満バンドに参加。
以降、自己のバンドを率いて活動中。
1982年より障害者の為のチャリティーコンサート「チャリティージャズメッセ」を主催し、
2000年で19回を迎える。また老人の音楽療法や 和太鼓の指導（高野山）も行っている。
